DST Series™ GIA™ Single Use Reloadable Stapler

The GIA™ 60, 80 and 100 Reloadable Staplers place two double staggered rows of titanium staples and simultaneously cut and divide tissue between the two double rows. The GIA™ Reloadable Staplers and Single Use Loading Units (SULU) are available in the following lengths:

● 60 mm

● 80 mm

● 100 mm lengths

The SGIA™ 60 Knifeless Stapler places two double staggered rows of titanium staples. The SGIA™ Knifeless Stapler is available in 60 mm only. The GIA™ Reloadable Staplers are available in three staple sizes to accommodate various tissue thicknesses:

● 3.8 mm

● 4.8 mm

The SGIA™ Knifeless Stapler is available in 3.8 mm staple size only. Please refer to the “SPECIFICATION CHART” for availability of staple sizes and cartridge lengths. Each GIA™ Reloadable Stapler may be reloaded up to 7 times for a total of 8 firings per instrument. The SGIA™ stapler is not reloadable.

EEA™ Hemorrhoid and Prolapse Stapler Set with DST Series™ Technology

The Covidien™ EEA™ Hemorrhoid and Prolapse Stapler Set with DST Series™ Technology is designed for use as a stapler instrument for control of rectal prolapse and hemorrhoid disease. The instrument places a circular, double-staggered row of titanium DST™ staples and removes a circular tissue specimen. The Covidien™ EEA™ Hemorrhoid and Prolapse Stapler Set with DST Series™ Technology is offered in a 33mm diameter size with either 3.5mm or 4.8mm staples.

 

The accompanying accessories are comprised of an access Port, Anoscope, and Dilator.

The access port aids the insertion and removal of the anoscope and the stapler device by dilating the anal sphincter throughout the procedure.

 

The anoscope is designed to facilitate pursestring suture application above the dentate line. It is designed with a guide and markings to assist in creating a circumferential pursestring suture at a consistent placement within the rectum.

The dilator is designed to aid the initial insertion of the anoscope and port by retracting the rectal tissue.

Both the anoscope and port are transparent to facilitate visualization of the anal canal.
